Character developed through the interaction of units as opposed to the isolation of individual units. Consider - how can you promote the dominance of indivuality even while participating in a field condition? Consider - how does the character of the group (field) change because of a change in the basic units? This is the goal, to guide the field through the transformation of the individual. What can you say about the solidity, the density, the strength of flexibility of the group/field in local areas? How does that character emerge due to small changes to the individual/basic unit? How does it shift according to shifts in the basic unit?
